On-Site and Remote Technical Operations Support

A critical service that I provide is the ability to diagnose computer problems both remotely or on-site and to stabilize the system and get the user back up and running. Part of this service is being pro-active with patch releases or operating system upgrades announced by the vendors. Additionally I will notify our clients of virus or email attacks that surface

System Configuration Review and Analysis

As everyone has experienced, without explanation, the computer seems to be running slowly or unreliably. As part of the initial working relationship, I will analyze all of the existing equipment installed, verify that the network is working properly, computer upgrades are installed, and backup and restore services are reliable. All of this is critical for a practical and functional systems installation.

Infrastructure Review and Installation

We have all experienced or heard of a situation where a business selects a vendor to provide new or additional business equipment or service; it never seems to go as planned or cost what was estimated. I work with the client and the vendor to define the scope and deliverables, develop a realistic schedule, monitor progress and insure successful installation and configuration

Disaster Recovery Planning

Because of the dependence and criticality of the business data, it is no longer an option to have a disaster recovery plan. I will work with the client and a D/R vendor (if needed) to define what needs to be protected. Jointly we define the schedule and technical requirements to implement a cost effective and properly defined solution.
